This is your official invitation to the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Annual State Conference, April 5-8, 2017.
The conference will be held in St. George, Utah, at the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn, 1129 South Bluff St., St. George, Utah, 84770. Rates are $109 for one to four persons. Reservations may be requested and confirmed by phoning (1-435-652-1234), writing, or faxing (1-435-652-5950) any clerk. To receive these rates you must mention that you are with UIAAA. Reservations must be made by March 5, 2017. After that date the UIAAA block will be released to the general public.
Our vendor fee will be $415 plus the $50 door prize to be given out at the annual business meeting, Friday at 3:50 p.m. However, early-bird registration of $385 is available until January 5, 2017. New this year is the addition of Vendor time only from 3:30- 6:00 pm in the Victoria room and lobby of the Abbey Inn. We have secured the exhibit area at the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn from 1:30 p.m. on Thursday April 6, 2017 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday April 7, 2017. This is a change from past years. The Vendor Show will be Thursday afternoon, 3:30-6:00p.m. and Friday 12:00-5:00 p.m., rather than the old schedule of Friday and Saturday morning. We believe this will work out better for our vendors. There will be a drawing for a big screen TV in the vendor hall at 5:50 Thursday April 6. Also this year, your company will be able to pay the registration online. The UIAAA recognizes that this may be more convenient for you and your company.
The UIAAA hospitality area will be located in the Victoria Room by tables 1 and 16. Set up may begin any time after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. This is a change from previous year’s schedule. The UIAAA is providing more vendors only time during the Friday schedule this year, and changing the Saturday schedule to Thursday afternoon. The vendor space will be 6-8’ by 2-4’ depending on the location. As always, the earlier the registration is received will determine the choice of booths at the conference. If your company does not need the table at your booth please consider asking for booths 2, 3, 15, or 16. The first company registered, will be allowed first choice of booth location, etc.
There is a map (click here to view the map) with the registration material to help you list your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th choices for space. If you need power at your table do not request booths 17-24. UIAAA business partners and sponsors will have priority on booth location for the vendor show.
Registration for athletic directors will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday. If you are interested in attending our conference, please fill out the registration form and pay the vendor fee.
