Richard Barton to Receive NIAAA Frank Kovaleski Professional Development Award

Richfield Athletic Director Richard Barton, CMAA has been selected to receive the 2019 NIAAA Frank Kovaleski Professional Development Award.

Barton, a former NIAAA board president and current UIAAA Certification Coordinator and NIAAA Liaison will receive the award on December 17 in National Harbor, Maryland, during banquet festivities at the 50th annual National Athletic Directors Conference.

The mission of the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association is to develop, promote and preserve the educational values of interscholastic athletics. To serve its members, the UIAAA offers resources, professional development and leadership training. The intent of this Association is to maintain and improve partnerships with the Utah High School Activities Association, National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, businesses and other professional organizations.
