Dear Sponsor,
As a professional athletic director and former coach, I can tell you that nothing beats the feeling of being victorious. But I can also promise you that victories in the athletic arenas of high school sports don’t come easily. Being victorious requires dedication, commitment, and teamwork. Everyone must do their part together if a team is going to succeed.
Through the work of the UIAAA, high schools in Utah benefit. Like any victory, this one requires dedication, commitment, and teamwork. By contributing to the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, you will help create a sense of well-being and stability in Utah’s educational future.
Specifically, by contributing to the UIAAA, you, or your company, will directly assist high schools students, coaches, teachers, athletic directors, and athletic programs in Utah.
The UIAA is committed to providing quality athletic programs for Utah students. Established in 1980, the UIAAA aims to increase professionalism, education and collaboration among athletic administrators in schools across the state. The purpose of the Utah Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association is:
1) To foster higher standards of professional proficiency and ethics in the field of athletics administration.
2) To establish a closer working relationship with related professional groups.
3) To represent, professionally, all high school administrators both statewide and nationally.
4) To provide opportunities for continuing study of the best practices in the field of athletic administration.
5) To promote high standards of achievements and ethics in inter-scholastic athletics and activities.
6) To promote goodwill and fellowship among the athletic and activities administrators of the state of Utah.
7) To provide a link between high school athletic and activities administrators and the Utah High School Activities Associations. (UHSAA)
Why is athletics an important part of Utah schools? By participating in school sponsored athletic programs, students can learn valuable character traits as well as understand the importance of teamwork, self-discipline, and goal setting.
You are probably asking yourself this question, “How does the UIAAA help Utah students?” In order to provide students with athletic programs that support the above-mentioned ideals, the UIAAA sponsors training courses and conferences so that athletic administrators from across the state are able to collaborate, as well as increase their professionalism and credibility.
Where will my donation be spent? A portion of the monetary donations of our business partners goes directly toward providing scholarships for Utah students. These scholarships open windows of opportunity for promising young students. In addition your donation to the UIAAA will provide: Leadership training for Utah teachers and athletic directors, courses and conferences for athletic administrators, the ability for the UIAAA to continue to host the State of Utah Basketball High School Hall-of-Fame Classic each November, a first class luncheon and dinner at the annual UIAAA State Conference in the spring of each year, and the ability for the UIAAA to host our expanded summer golf tournament.
The UIAAA is a registered 501-C-3 corporation, and as such all donations are fully tax deductible.
The UIAAA offers three levels of business partnerships.
